The local summer car boot sale has become my favourite way to spend a Sunday morning. I love that I can wander down there with a pocket full of change and come back with all sorts of treasures. These are just a few.The timber abacus is so well made it will last forever...not like most of today's toys! Not sure what to do with the vintage tea towel but it wont be touching any dishes. I plan to clean up and repaint the timber dolls cradle and then make some bedding for it as my little girl is just starting to enjoy playing dolls. The embroidered hankies may turn into pincushions like these. And the tins?...well, they're already filling with stamps torn from the mail.
